Modern Hebrew Beginner 1 Sunday

For students with no prior knowledge of Hebrew. Students learn to read basic modern Hebrew text in print, write in cursive and converse.

Note: This is a 10-week course that runs every Sunday from 1/17/21 – 3/21/21 @ 1:00pm-3:00pm PST. Upon completed registration, you will receive a confirmation email with your Zoom invitation.

Instructor: Mira Rosenthal

For students with no prior knowledge of Hebrew. Students learn to read basic modern Hebrew text in print, write in cursive and engage in conversation while developing listening and speaking skills.

Students can purchase the book on Amazon: “Hebrew From Scratch – Part A.” (2019 edition). This class will cover Units 1 – 5, verbs in the present tense, acquisition words and prepositions.

Instructor: Mira Rosenthal

Mira Rosenthal is a senior lecturer in Hebrew Language and Literature. She has been teaching Hebrew at Cal State University Northridge and American Jewish University’s Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies since 1999. She received her teaching certification in 1978 from Gordon College in Haifa, Israel.
