Stone Carving and Sculpture: Wednesday Evening
Note: This is a 5-week course running on Wednesdays, 11/10/2021 – 12/15/2021, @ 7pm-9:30pm PDT. This is an in-person class, to be held on our Familian Campus.
Welcome back to our studio spaces! Take some much needed time to explore your creativity and carve your path to inspiration.
In this class, students will learn to use stone carving tools and all technical instruction to working with stone. The class also includes discussions of aesthetic approaches from the Renaissance to post-modern times to help students develop their own personal style and artistic expression.
Basic tools and equipment are provided on loan to first-time students. Students supply their own stone, with advice from the instructor.
Price of tuition includes materials.

Michael Tine received his BFA in Painting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and his MFA in Sculpture from the University of Wyoming, Laramie. He has exhibited regionally and nationally.
